Sigurd Snogoje, known as "Snake-in-eye", was born in Denmark.  "Snake-in-eye"'s father was Ragnar ("Lodbrok") Sigurdsson and his mother is Aslaug Sigurdsdottir.  His paternal grandfather was King Sigurd ("Ring") Randversson and his paternal grandmother is Alfhild Gandolfsdatter; his maternal grandparents are Sigurd ("Fafnisbana") Sigmundsson and Brynhild Budlasdatter. He had a brother and a sister, named "Ironside" and daughter. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named "den Benlose", "the Boneless" and Alof.  He died  due to died in a Northumberland snake pit in 0800 in Northumberland.


"Snake-in-eye"'s family with Princess Heluna Bleja

‌"Snake-in-eye" and Heluna Bleja were married in a religious ceremony about 0799 in Jutland, Denmark.  They had a son and two daughters, named Horda-Knut, Tora and Aslaug.
