Robert was born in 0870 in Maer, Nord-Trondelag, Norway and his baptism took place in 0912.  Robert's father was Earl Ragnvald ("the Wise") Eysteinsson I of Orkney and his mother was Ragnhild Hrolfsdottir.  His paternal grandparents are Eystein ("the Noisy", "Glumrw") Ivarsson and Aseda Jutland; his maternal grandfather is Hrolf Nefia of Norway. He had two brothers named Hrollager and "the Silent".  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named "Turf".  He died in Notre Dame, Rouen, Nornandie, Neustria.  He was buried in Notre Dame, Rouen, Nornandie, Neustria.


Robert's first family with Poppa de Valois

‌Robert and Poppa were married in a religious ceremony in 0891.  They had a son and a daughter, named "Longsword", "Longue Epaee" and Adele.


Robert's second family with Princess Gisela of France

‌Robert and Gisela were married in a religious ceremony about 0920.  They had a son and two daughters, named Walter, Adela and Grisele.


Robert's third family

He had a biological daughter named Crispina.
