Adelaide Havoise was born in 1003 in Nevers, Nievre, France.  Adelaide Havoise's father was King Robert ("the Pious") Capet II and her mother was Constance de Toulouse.  Her paternal grandparents were King Hugh Capet of France and Adela of Aquitaine; her maternal grandfather was William Taillefer III and her maternal grandmother is Arsinde de Anjou. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry, "the Old", Robert, Constance, Adelaide and Hadewide.  She died in Monastere Ordre St. Benuist, Messines, France.  She was buried in Monastere Ordre St. Benuist, Messines, France.
