Eleanor was born about 1122 in Chãateau de Belin, Bordeaux, Aquitaine.  Eleanor's father was William X of Aquitaine and her mother was Eleanor de Rochefoucauld Chatellerault.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke William ("the Troubador") VII (IX) of Aquitaine and Countess Philippa Mathilde of Toulouse; her maternal grandparents were Vicomte Aimery de Rochefoucauld I and Dangereuse de l'Isle-Bouchard.  She was an only child.  She died on March 31st, 1204 in Poitiers, Poitou, Aquitaine.  She was buried in Abbaye De Fontevrault, Fontevrault, France.


Eleanor's first family with King Henry Curtmantle FitzEmpress ("Plantagenet") Plantagenet II of England

‌Eleanor and "Plantagenet" were married in a religious ceremony on May 11th, 1152 in Bordeaux Cathedral, Gascony.  They had a son and three daughters, named "Lackland", Matilda, Eleanor and Joanna.


Eleanor's second family with King Louis ("the Younger") Capet VII of France

They had three daughters named Alix, Agnes and Mary.
