Hildegard was born in Bourgogne.  Hildegard's father was Prince Robert Capet I and her mother was Countess Ermengarde d'Anjou.  Her paternal grandparents were King Robert ("the Pious") Capet II and Constance de Toulouse; her maternal grandparents were Count Fulk ("the Black", "le Noir") de Grisgonelle III of Anjou and Hildegarde de Lorraine. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry, "Rechin", Constance and Hildegarde.  She died after 1104.


Hildegard's family with Duke William VI or VIII of Aquitaine

‌Hildegard and William were married in a religious ceremony in 1068 in France.  They had a son and a daughter, named "the Troubador" and Agnes.
