Fulk, known as "Rechin", was born in 1043 in Anjou, France.  "Rechin"'s father was Count Geoffrey ("Ferreol") de Gatinais IV and his mother was Countess Ermengarde d'Anjou.  His paternal grandfather was Count Geoffroy de Gatinais III and his paternal grandmother is Beatrice de Macon; his maternal grandparents were Count Fulk ("the Black", "le Noir") de Grisgonelle III of Anjou and Hildegarde de Lorraine. He had a sister named Hildegarde. He had a half-sister named Hildegard.  He died at the age of 63 on April 14th, 1106 in Anjou, France.


"Rechin"'s first family with Hildegarde de Beaugency

‌"Rechin" and Hildegarde were married in a religious ceremony about 1063 in France.  They had a daughter named Ermengarde.


"Rechin"'s second family with Bertrade de Montfort

‌"Rechin" and Bertrade were married in a religious ceremony in 1089 in France.  They had a son named "the Younger", "le Jeune".
