Ermengarde was born about 1066 in Anjou, France.  Ermengarde's father was King Fulk ("Rechin") d'Anjou IV of Jerusalem and her mother is Hildegarde de Beaugency.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Geoffrey ("Ferreol") de Gatinais IV and Countess Ermengarde d'Anjou; her maternal grandfather was Lord Lancelin de Beaugency II and her maternal grandmother is Adelberge. She had a half-brother named "the Younger", "le Jeune".  She died on June 1st, 1147 in Jerusalem.


Ermengarde's first family with Duke Alan Fergent IV of Brittany

‌Ermengarde and Alan were married in a religious ceremony in 1092.  They had a son and two daughters, named "le Grosse", Hawise and Hawise.


Ermengarde's second family with Duke William ("the Troubador") VII (IX) of Aquitaine

‌Ermengarde and "the Troubador" were married in a religious ceremony in 1119.  They had a son named Raymond.
