Margaret was born in Northumberland, Northumberland, England.  Margaret's father was Prince Henry Canmore macCrinan of Huntingdon and her mother was Ada de Warren.  Her paternal grandparents were King David I of Scotland and Matilda Huntington of Northumberland; her maternal grandparents were Earl William de Warenne II of Surrey and Elizabeth de Crepi. She had two brothers and three sisters, named "The Lion", David, Marjory, Ada and Marjory.  She died in 1201 in Richmond, Yorkshire, England.

‌Margaret and Henry were married in a religious ceremony before April 1175 in England.  They had a son named Henry.


Margaret's second family with Duke Conan ("le Petit") IV of Bretagne

‌Margaret and "le Petit" were married in a religious ceremony in Scotland.  They had a daughter named Constance.


Margaret's third family with Robert de Leyburne

They had a son named Roger.
