Adâelaèide was born about 1027 in Normandy, France.  Adâelaèide's father was Count Robert ("the Devil", "the Magnificent") II of Normandy and her mother was Herleva de Falaise.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke Richard ("the Good") de Normandy II and Princess Judith of Brittany; her maternal grandparents were Chamberlain Rollo Fulbert de Falaise and Duxia de Falaise. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Ralph, "the Conqueror", Godiva and Felicia. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Odo, Robert, Muriel and Emma.  She died before 1090.

‌Adâelaèide and Enguerrand II were married in a religious ceremony about 1045 in Normandy, France.  They had a son and two daughters, named Peter, Elizabeth and Adeliza.


Adâelaèide's second family with Count Lambert de Boulogne II of Lens

‌Adâelaèide and Lambert were married in a religious ceremony about 1053 in Normandy, France.  They had a daughter named Judith.

They had a son named Stephen.
