Marjory was born in 1152 in Crawford, Lanarkshire, Scotland.  Marjory's father was Prince Henry Canmore macCrinan of Huntingdon and her mother was Ada de Warren.  Her paternal grandparents were King David I of Scotland and Matilda Huntington of Northumberland; her maternal grandparents were Earl William de Warenne II of Surrey and Elizabeth de Crepi. She had two brothers and three sisters, named "The Lion", David, Marjory, Ada and Margaret.  She died at the age of 61 in 1213.

‌Marjory and William were married in a religious ceremony about 1170 in Crawford, Lanarkshire, Scotland.  They had a son named Walter.
