Henry Canmore was born in Scotland.  Henry Canmore's father was King David I of Scotland and his mother was Matilda Huntington of Northumberland.  His paternal grandparents were King Malcom III ("Ceanmor", "Longneck", "Bighead") of Scotland and Princess Margaret ("the Exile", "Atheling") of Wessex; his maternal grandfather was Earl Waltheof II of Northumberland and his maternal grandmother is Judith de Boulogne. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Simon, Waltheof fitzSimon, Adelicia, Matilda and Maud.  He died on June 12th, 1152 in Scotland.  He was buried in Kelso, Roxburghshire, Scotland.


Henry Canmore's family with Ada de Warren

‌Henry Canmore and Ada were married in a religious ceremony in England.  They had two sons and four daughters, named "The Lion", David, Marjory, Ada, Marjory and Margaret.
