Maud was born in Tunbridge Castle, Kent, England.  Maud's father was Earl Simon de Saint Liz of Northampton and her mother was Matilda Huntington of Northumberland.  Her paternal grandfather was Ranulph ("the Rich") de St. Liz and her paternal grandmother is Ermengarde; her maternal grandfather was Earl Waltheof II of Northumberland and her maternal grandmother is Judith de Boulogne. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Simon, Waltheof fitzSimon, Adelicia and Matilda. She had a half-brother named Henry Canmore.  She died in 1140.


Maud's first family with Baron Robert FitzRichard de Clare of Baynard

‌Maud and Robert FitzRichard were married in a religious ceremony in 1112 in Buckley, Northampton, England.  They had two daughters named Maud and Maud.


Maud's second family with Lord Saher de Quincy I of Bradeham

They had two sons named Robert and Robert.


Maud's third family with William (Brito) de Toeni

They had a son named William.
