In 1841, Jopseph and Ann Allen (both 60) were in Shaw Street, Bolton with Betty (20) and Sarah (14), possible grandchildren.

In 1851, Joseph (74 and a Loomer, born Warrington) was married to Ann (75) and living at Shaw Street, Bolton Emmanuel, East Bolton.

In 1861, Joseph Allen, aged 84, born Warrington, was living in the cellar under 137 Blackburn Street, Bolton
1774 - 1831 Sarah Carter 57 57 1820 Sarah Lever Sarah Lever, a spinster from Little Bolton had two girls before she married John Allen.  Her parents were James and Agnes Lever.

On 20 Aug, 1848 Sarah Lever married John Allen. Sarah was a spinster, the daughter of John Lever, a mechaninic.

There is a baptism record for Benjamin being baptised at Peel.  This may be an error, as all other baptisms after Benjamin are at Deane.
1809 - 1831 Joseph Allen 21 21 In 1822, Joseph did NOT marry Mary Slack and had a son Benjamin (named after his close brother).  There is no DNA match in 18 trees with this family.

Joseph may have married Jane and had a dughter Hannah in 1825.
1807 - 1827 Jane Allen 20 20 12 Feb 1826, Sarah Allen of Goldburm, spinster, had a daughter Jane baptised at Deane.  This is probably another (as Jane was from Greater Bolton or Little Bolton.

In May 1827, Jane Allen died, aged 21 (actually 20). Otherwise, she may have married Isaac Broadhurst in 1833 or William Ferguson in 1834, both at Bolton, but no evidence (DNA or trees) that this is the case.

In 1861, William and Rachel (57 & 45) were living at 4 Britain Street, Little Bolton.

In 1863, William's father Joseph died while living with him at Briton Street, Little Bolton.

In 1871, William (51) was a widower in Little Bolton.
