Margaret was born in 1883. Margaret's father was Henry Morris and her mother was Anne Wood. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Wood and Alice Naylor (Littler). She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Percy, Harry, Jane, Ellen and Annie. She was the second oldest of the seven known children.
