Alice was born on October 23rd, 1880 in Parbold. Alice's father was Richard Orrell and her mother was Sarah Gorse.  Her paternal grandparents were George Orrell and Mary Molyneux; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Gorse and Alice Mawdsley. She had five brothers and a sister, named George, Thomas, George, Richard, Henry and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 20 on June 18th, 1901.

‌Alice and <unknown> were living together in a platonic relationship then separated.  They had a son and a daughter, named Richard and Sarah.  There are no more children.
