 1827 Elizabeth Eddowes In 1827, Elizabeth daughter of John & Mary Eddowes, Bank Street, Wrexham, Maltster, was baptised.

Elizabeth was baptised again 2 years later with sister Mary Ann (still at Bank Street, John now a Carrier).  It is not clear if the first Elizabeth died, or whether she simply got baptised twice.  However, there is no death record and no mention on the baptism of the two sisters being twins.

In 1851, Elizabeth was not with the Eddowes family (as married to John Evans and living at 18 Bridge Street).

Elizabeth on 1861 census, (53, Wid) a midwife, living at 18 Bridge Street. 1823 - 1872 John Evans (Whitall) 49 49 27 Jan 1845, John Whitall servant, son of Daniel Whitall a labourer married Elizabeth Eddowes, servant, daughter of Joseph Eddows a sawyer at Wrexham.  Both of full age.

In 1846, another John Evans married Mary Lewis

In 1851, John a brewer and Elizabeth (28 & 24) were at "The Walks", Wrexham Abbot with Mary (4) and John (1).

Although named Whitall when married, all the later birth and census records show John "Evans".  Also, although Elizabeth named her father Joseph there are no recorded births or baptisms of Elizabeth to Joseph (only John), and also there are no records for a Joseph Eddowes in Wrexham.

In 1871, John (a brewer) and Elizabetrh (47 & 46) were living at 18 Bridge Street, Wrexham Abbot with Mary Jane (24), John (21), Rosanna (16) and Charles (12). 1850 John Evans 1847 Mary Jane Evans In 1871, Mary Jane Evans (24) was still with her parents at 18 Bridge Street, Wrexham Abbot.

In 1871, Charles (12) was at school, living with his parents at 18 Bridge Street, Wrexham.

In 1881, Charles (23, unmarried) was living with his mother at 18 Bridge Street, Wrexham. Also Ann Evans (5) was present.
