Benjamin was born on July 6th, 1921 in Birkenhead.¹

Birth Notes

Benjamin's father was James Henry Wood and his mother was Ruby Banner. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Wood and Sarah Eddowes. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Abraham, Thomas, Stanley, Ruby and Lily. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 49 in October 1970 in Cheshire.²
