Benjamin Wood

Benjamin was born on July 6th, 1921 in Birkenhead and his baptism took place on July 20th, 1921 at St. Paul's (Tranmere).¹²

Birth Notes

Benjamin's father was James Henry Wood and his mother was Ruby Banner. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Wood and Sarah Ann Eddowes. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Bob, John, Charles, Abraham, Thomas, David, Stanley, Alexander, William, Lena, Ruby and Lily. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 49 in October 1970 in Cheshire.³
