Ruby Wood

Ruby was born on March 9th, 1910 in Birkenhead and her baptism took place on March 23rd, 1910 at St. Paul's (Tranmere).¹²

Birth Notes

Ruby's father was James Henry Wood and her mother was Ruby Banner. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Wood and Sarah Ann Eddowes. She had ten brothers and two sisters, named Bob, John, Charles, Abraham, Thomas, David, Stanley, Alexander, Benjamin, William, Lena and Lily. She was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 98 on November 4th, 2008 in the Wirral.
