Abraham Wood

Abraham was born on June 3rd, 1854 in Birkenhead and his baptism took place on June 16th, 1863 at St. Peter (Liverpool).¹²

Abraham's father was Abraham Wood and his mother was Martha Taylor. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Daniel, David, Annie, Martha, Mary and Susannah. He was the fifth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 76 on July 14th, 1930 in Birkenhead.³

  Abraham is not in the same grave (i.e. Name on headstone) as his wife Sarah at Flaybrick.

General Notes
- Abraham's parents were Abraham and Martha. Abraham, andf his sons were Boiler Cleaners, probably working at the Birkenhead Shipyards (or maybe Liverpool's).
  
  The 1901 census shows Abraham with a new wife, also Sarah, aged 26 in 1901 census, but actually a fair bit younger. She would have only been 15 when married to Abraham!
