John Wood

John was born in 1843 in Birkenhead.¹   John's father was Abraham Wood and his mother was Martha Taylor. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, David, Abraham, Annie, Martha, Mary and Susannah.  He was the oldest of the eight children.
