William Stanton

William was born in 1856 in Birkenhead.¹   William's father was William Stanton and his mother was Catherine Hughes. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Hugh, John, Owen, Mary and Rosanne.  He was the third oldest of the seven known children.
