Edmund Stanton

Edmund was born in December 1897 in Birkenhead.¹

Edmund's father was Owen Stanton and his mother was Mary Jane Hughes. His paternal grandparents were William Stanton and Catherine Hughes; his maternal grandparents were William Hughes and Lucy Eddowes. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, James, Owen, Lucy, Mary, Nora and Agnes. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 16 in September 1914 in Birkenhead.¹
