Margaret Dawson

Margaret was born in October 1840 in Ellesmere and her christening took place there on October 15th, 1840.^1 2

Margaret's father was Samuel Dawson and her mother was Mary Rhodes. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Edward, James, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann, Ellen, Sarah and Eliza.  She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 75 in 1915 in Birkenhead.¹ 

‌Margaret and William were married in a religious ceremony in 1859 in Liverpool witnessed by Edmund and Mary Eddowes.¹

  Edmund and Mary witnessed the marriage of William and Margaret in the Parish Church of Our Lady, St Nicholas with St Anne, Chapel Street, Liverpool.
  

They had a daughter named Eliza.  The family line is yet to be completed.

  Margaret Dawson married Judith's gg grandfather William Salt in Liverpool in 1859 and they moved to Birkenhead.
