Edmund (Nat) Eddowes

Edmund, known as Nat, was born on December 11th, 1882 in Birkenhead.¹

Nat's father was John Samuel Eddowes and his mother was Ellen Murphy. His paternal grandparents were Edmund (Edwin) Harry Eddowes and Mary Dawson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 78 on May 8th, 1961 in Birkenhead.²

General Notes
- Edmund was with parents in Liverpool in 1891, but had left home by 1901. From the 1891 census it appears that Edmund was the son of John and Catherine. However, they only married that year, so must have been from an earlier marriege (or illegitimate).
  
  In 1910, Edmund was a Fireman on the crew list of the Oronsa, aged 25.
  
  Edmund served with the British Army in WW1 (discharded 11 Aug 1917).
