Philip, known as "the Fair", was born in 1268 in Fountainebleu, France.  "the Fair"'s father was King Philip III of France and his mother was Princess Isabelle of Aragon.  His paternal grandparents were King Louis Capet IX and Marguerite Berenger of Provence; his maternal grandparents were King Jayme ("the Conqueror") I of Aragon and Princess Yolande of Hungary. He had a brother named Charles.  He was the older of the two children. He had a half-sister named Marguerite.  He died at the age of 46 on November 29th, 1314 in Fountainebleu, France.
