Marguerite was born in 1275 in Paris, Isle De France, France.  Marguerite's father was King Philip III of France and her mother was Princess Marie of Brabant.  Her paternal grandparents were King Louis Capet IX and Marguerite Berenger of Provence; her maternal grandparents were Duke Henri III of Brabant and Alix de Burgundy. She had two half-brothers named "the Fair" and Charles.  She died at the age of 42 on February 14th, 1317 in Marlborough Castle, Marlborough, England.  She was buried in Grey Friars, London, England.


Marguerite's family with King Edward ("Longshanks") Plantagenet I of England

‌Marguerite and "Longshanks" were married in a religious ceremony on September 10th, 1299 in Canterbury Cathedral, Kent, England.  They had two sons named "of Brotherton" and "of Woodstock".
