Sarah and John were married in a religious & civil ceremony on August 13th, 1901 at the Baptist Chapel, Grange Road by Charles Rignal and witnessed by Richard and Mary Mather.5

Walter Mather passed away peacefully on 23rd November 2005 after a long illness.
He probably died early evening, as Mum telephoned my about 9pm, while I was out with friends. He had only just been moved from the hospital two days earlier, so it was quite unexpected just then, although we knew his time was limited.
The cause of death was recorded as Lewy Body Dementure, but had also recently suffered from several strokes and also had bowl cancer.
