Rebeccah's father was Jonathan Sykes and her mother was Mrs Jonathan Sykes. She was an only child.

- About 1795 Joseph and Rebekah may have emigrated to the USA (as no more UK births). Mrs Rebecca Wood, wife of James wood died 1799 in MA, USA
