John Grimshaw died at Allerton, and was buried at a Friends Burial Ground serving the Bradford area (see grave record).
In the margin of the burial records:
"N/B his ??? was at Preston Partick, Westmorland
??? a member of the ??? ??? ???
Make a grave on or before next fourth Day, in Friends Burying Ground, at or near Bradford and therein lay the body of Jn'o Grimshaw (i.e. John Grimshaw) late of Allerton in the parish of Bradford in the county of york Farmer aged about eighty five years who died the fifteenth day of the seventh month one thousand wight hundred and five.
James Taylor, Grave maker interred the body, probably at the Quaker burial ground at Idle.
An indenture record for a grave plot dated 1788 bears the name (amongst several others) of John Grimshaw of Calverley, so unless there is another John Grimshaw, Quaker in Bradford, is appears John first came to Calverely before farming at Allerton.

John possibly had a sister Esther. They were married 4 days appart at Preston (both Quaker Marriages)
Innholder of Crooklands, but from the burial record, was later a farmer at Allerton, where he died.
An indenture record for a grave plot dated 1788 bears the name (amongst several others) of John Grimshaw of Calverley, so unless there is another John Grimshaw, Quaker in Bradford, is appears John first came to Calverely before farming at Allerton.

There's also a burial Dec 1839 at Bingley of Jane Hudson from Lady House, aged 69, but if this is correct, theres a much better age match for the marriage, but the baptism and parents are wrong.

Well the "Ancient Bingley" book describes the residences: "On the Morton side of the town we find a Deer Park, Walsh Lane, Sty lane (probably stile-lane), Limefield, Greenhill, Lady House, lime works; and lower down Gilstead, Little beck, Sparable lane ..." etc. It appears that lady House is/was in Lady Lane
