General Notes
William lived at Clayton, about 1.5 miles south of Allerton until 1758 (where the family later had a farm), although the children were all baptised at Northowram Independant, near Halifax.
After 1858, the family were residents of Northowarm and shown by the baptism: "Priscilla daughter of William Smith Inhabitants of Northowram"
A will of 1806 shows William Smith, Yeoman of Legram's Lane, Bradford, estate under £200. Legrams Lane joins Clayron Road, so this probably is our William, but his wife (relict) is shown as Sarah. William mat have married again!
