1816 Mary Stocks (nee Blackburn)

Mary was born in February 1762 in Newsome and her christening took place on March 28th, 1762 in Almondbury.^1 2

Mary's father was Michael Blackburn and her mother was Hannah Scover. She had three brothers named Michael, Matthew and John.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Matthew, John, Joseph, John, Sarah, Susana, Anne, Sarah, Hanah, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 54 in September 1816 in Berry Brow.  She was buried on September 11th, 1816 in Almondbury.³
