Lydia, known as Lillie, was born on June 15th, 1897 in Birkenhead and her baptism took place there on July 7th, 1897.1 2  Lillie's father was Richard Brereton and her mother was Lydia Timmis.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and Esther Eddowes; her maternal grandparents were Richard Timmis Jnr and Lydia Woodward. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, William, Frank, Ginnie, Ethel and Elsie.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 66 on November 7th, 1963 in Birkenhead.3 





Lillie's first family with Ernest Pearson

‌Lillie and Ernest were married in a religious ceremony in September 1918 in Burnley.6  They had two sons and a daughter, named Frank, Nick and Lydia.  There are no more children.



Lillie's second family with Walter John Adams Robinson

‌Lillie and Walter were married in a religious ceremony in September 1926 in Claughton.7  They had a son named John.  There are no more children.
