General Notes
When Thomas died, he left Catherine £200.
Catherine also left a Will passing probate on 18 Aug 1810 which is worth reading. Catherine Hopley widower of Shocklach left William, Samuel and James (the 3 brother farmers) £40 to share. Robert, Charles and John each got £10. Peter died in 1798, so his three daughters got £5 each when they reached 21. Son Thomas was left out of the Will. Daughter Mary Devis recieved £10 but not the other daughters.
Catherine bequethed "to my Granddaughter Catherine Hopley The Sum of Ten Pounds". This is strange for a minor, and doesnt state which Catherine (John, Peter and Charles all had Catherines) so perhaps there is another, aged over 21 in 1810.
