Richards's will describes him as a Publican at the Fish Inn, Shocklach Oviat. He had to pay his sister Margaret Hopley, and each of her children £5 each from his fathers estate.
A Richards, possible the same person, also had the Emral Arms in in Worthenbury, Flintshire. Pricard brother-in-law Thomas Phythian farmed in Worthenbury, so this may be a connection.
Richard and Anne were married in a commitment ceremony on August 12th, 1769 in Shocklach by minister Henry Dochsey.1 They were also married in a religious ceremony on September 24th, 1769 in Shocklach by Curate John Lloyd and witnessed by Richard Jnr Frith & John Davies.1
