    • Probably taken after husband Richard had died, so about 1902 (aged 67).
Lydia was born in 1835 in Little Neston and her baptism took place on July 24th, 1835 in Neston.1 2  Lydia's father was James Woodward and her mother was Ann Williams.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Woodworth (Woodward) and Elizabeth Tomkins; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Williams and Ann Millington. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, John, Elizabeth, Jane and Ann.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Pneumonia/Cardiac Failure, at the age of 73 on May 6th, 1908 in Rock Ferry.3

‌Lydia and Richard were married in a religious ceremony on January 10th, 1859 at St. Peter (Liverpool) by Curate William Duncan and witnessed by John and Jane Ann Wragg.5  They had three daughters named Ellen, Jinnie and Lydia.  There are no more children.
