Living in Little Neston in 1861 with wife Pricilla, next door to sister Lydia Timmis (but by 1871 he was with Maria).
In 1841 Joseph (15, Shoe Maker) and John (14) are with their sisters and parents James (a coal miner) and Ann at Gorston, near Hinderton and Little Neston. This 1841 census is missing from Ancestry.
Probably had a son James (b. 1848) who was shown on the 1851 census, before he met Pricilla.
In 1852, John Woodward was in attendance at his father's death at 28 Cleveland Square, Liverpool
In 1861, John (34) was with wife Priscilla, but no children. His Mother Ann Woodward (head, Wid, 56) and John's sister Lydia (26) and husband Richard Timmis (35) were also in the same household.
John and Maria were living next door to Ann Woorword in 1871. Also had a son James with wife Maria, born 1867. John (of Little Neston) was in attendance when his mother Ann died in 1883
In 1891, John (64, Head), Maria (64) and son James (23) were at Dee View, Little Neston.
