Ann was born in 1802 in Hawarden and her baptism took place there on December 3rd, 1802.¹²

Ann's father was Samuel Williams and her mother was Ann Millington. Her paternal grandparents were John Williams and Elizabeth Broughton; her maternal grandparents were John Millington and Margaret Youde. She had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Samuel, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Rachel, Margaret and Frances. She was the sixth oldest of the nine children. She died due to Alzheimer's disease, Debility of Age, at the age of 81 on August 1st, 1883 in Little Neston. Her burial was on August 4th, 1883 in Neston.³
