Mary Williams

Mary was born in December 1791 in Hawarden and her baptism took place there on December 25th, 1791.¹

Mary's father was Samuel Williams and her mother was Ann Millington. Her paternal grandparents were John Williams and Elizabeth Broughton; her maternal grandparents were John Millington and Margaret Youde. She had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Samuel, Elizabeth, Ann, Ann, Rachel, Margaret and Frances. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 75 in December 1866 in Holywell.²

General Notes
- There is no obvious single mmary Williams in Northop, Flintshire, so it is likely she married, and the death in 1866 (registered at Holywell) is of another married woman.
  
  Since brother William was at Wepre, then the Mary Bethell, aged 50 in 1851 could be her.
