Margaret was born in 1807 in Hawarden and her baptism took place there on August 2nd, 1807.1  Margaret's father was Samuel Williams and her mother was Ann Millington.  Her paternal grandparents were John Williams and Elizabeth Broughton; her maternal grandparents were John Millington and Margaret Youd. She had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Samuel, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Ann, Rachel and Frances.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 67 on September 8th, 1874.

‌Margaret and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on December 27th, 1829 in Farnworth.2  They had a son and four daughters, named Henry, Ann, Mary, Margaret and Alice.
