      “Thy Will Be Done”
Lydia was born on June 14th, 1863 in Neston and her christening took place there on July 17th, 1863.1 2  Lydia's father was Richard Timmis Jnr and her mother was Lydia Woodward.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Timmis and Ellen Lewis; her maternal grandparents were James Woodward and Ann Williams. She had two sisters named Ellen and Jinnie.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 54 on March 6th, 1918 in Birkenhead.  The funeral took place on March 9th, 1918 at the Flaybrick Memorial Gardens and was arranged by R. Gallienno and Son of 34 Conway-street, Birkenhead..  She was buried on March 9th, 1918 at the Flaybrick Memorial Gardens.3 4 5

‌Lydia and Richard were married in a religious ceremony on September 21st, 1887 at St. Mary (Birkenhead).8  They had three sons and four daughters, named Richard, William, Frank, Ginnie, Ethel, Elsie and Lillie.  There are no more children.
