Ellen Jane and Tom were married for over 60 years.  Ginnie, as she was known, worked as a dressmaker in Devours, Claughton Road, Birkenhead.  They were members of the Grange Baptist Church, Whetstone Lane.
1886 - 1977 Thomas (Tom) Gladstone Turner 90 90 Strangely, Thomas was recorded as "James G Turner" on the 1891 census.

Ernest was living in Birkenhead, with his parents John and Alice Martha in 1911, aged 24.

Thomas worked for Cammell Lairds Shipbuilders as an engineer for 47 years. 

They are members of the Grange Baptist Church, Whetstone Lane, where Thomas has been a lay preacher for more than 35 years.

John Turner, aged 15 was lodging with Joseph and Ellen Varity in Liverpool in 1861.  Robert and Calvert Varty were also lodgers there.  This "Varty" name must be significant, as Calvert Varty Turner was named after them.

Calvert Varty was living in Birkenhead, with his parents John and Alice Martha in 1911, aged 25.

He was in the UK Royal Navy (TBC).
1889 Archibald Turner Archibald was living in Birkenhead, with his parents John and Alice Martha in 1911, aged 22.

In 1921, Archibald was with his wife Edith M and Phylis M and Edith M in Birkenhead.
1889 Ernest Turner Ernest was living in Birkenhead, with his parents John and Alice Martha in 1911, aged 21.

Married in 1913 or 1917 (two possible marriages), most likely is Catherine Darwood (TBC)
1892 (Sarah) Alice Turner Sarah Alice was living in Birkenhead, with her parents John and Alice Martha in 1911, aged 19. 1879 John Turner 1875 Richard James Turner Richard Jas Turner (aged 35) was living in Birkenhead, with his wife Elizabeth (aged 35) in 1911.  There were no children with them. 1869 William Henry Turner William, aged 1 was living with John and Ellen in Birkenhead in 1871.
