Richard Tomlinson

Richard's father was William Tomlinson and his mother was Mary Ann Barnes. His paternal grandparents were Richard Tomlinson and Ann Bolton; his maternal grandparents were William Barnes and Ellen. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Richard, William, Ann, Emma, Sarah, Charlotte, Mary and Maggie. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 76 in April 1955 in Bolton. His burial was on April 20th, 1955 at St. Michael (Gt. Lever).³⁴
