Richard Tomlinson (Tomblinson)

Richard was born in 1768 in Warrington.

Birth Notes
- Aged 33 when buried

Richard's father was <male> Tomlinson and his mother was <female> Tomlinson. He had three brothers named George, Hugh and William. He was the third oldest of the four known children. He died at the age of 33 in January 1801 in Warrington. His burial was on February 1st, 1801 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹¹

- Died before 1841 when Alice was living with daughter Ellen Wlikinson, still in Warrington. No records in FreeBMD or Cheshire BMD for deaths 1837 to 1841, so died before 1837.

General Notes
- Richard Tomlinson was a Weaver (not a Tailor, who is another). Early spellings of the name Warrington at Warrington for both families are "Tomblinson" (with a "b").
  
  There was a Richard Tomlinson, Blacksmith at Back Baloon St, Salford in 1797 who is probably another, as our Richard was a weaver.
