Richard Tomlinson was a Weaver (not a Tailor, who is another). Early spellings of the name Warrington at Warrington for both families are "Tomblinson" (with a "b").
There was a Richard Tomlinson, Blacksmith at Back Baloon St, Salford in 1797 who is probably another, as our Richard was a weaver.

According to the death certificate, Richard died on 22 Dec 1857, aged 59 at 8 Shaw Street. He was a Provision Dealer. John Bolton (also of 8 Shaw Street) was present at the death. The death was reported the following day.
