  The Edna Westby of Sheffield, born 4 Aug 1914 was the wife of Charles Westby

Edna's father was Arthur William George Westby and her mother was Ethel Booth. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Booth and Ann Ellen Tomlinson. She had a brother and a sister, named Arthur and Muriel. She was the oldest of the three children.

- There are no UK death records for Edna Westby and only one marriage (in Liverpool), plus anther marriage for "Edna M" at Crosby. Therefore the 1941 marriage seems most likely and In Q3/1941 Edna Westby married Richard H Jary. However, Edna Jary died Oct 2020 and the DOB is recorded as 18 Jun 1913. This is another Edna Westby, mother Hargreaves, born Ormskirk.
