Lottie's father was Charles Farrow and her mother was Charlotte Elizabeth Tomlinson. Her maternal grandparents were William Tomlinson and Mary Ann Barnes. She had a brother named Ernest. She was the younger of the two children. She died at 4 months old in July 1911 in Bolton.²
