- William's parents were Adam Denton (1843-1924) and Hariet Nuttall. Adam (68) was living with him in 1911.
  
  Sometime around 1912 the family lived in Yeadon or Wharfedale, (7 miles North of Bradfors and Leeds), Yorkshire. Ths is where Edith M Denton's birth was registered. No other births were registered here.
  
  In 1939, William and Mary J and sons were at 19 Bowness Road, Bolton.
