A David Stocks married Margaret Goldthorp and had a daughter Mary Stocks (c. 14-Apr-1816), but ther are two possible David Stocks so we dont know which one! Mary Ann was a widow in 1871 and with her youngest brother  David (at Taylor Hill). 1852 - 1924 Sarah Agnes Stocks 72 72 Married Thomas Ellis in 1872, and then John Edward Jessop (or Jepson). 1848 George Stocks Another George Stocks from Taylor Hill.

George Hy Stocks from Meetham Rd, Lockwood, Wool Cloth finisher however was married in 1891 to Martha E, and they had a daughter Sarah H and the mother-in-law Sarah Wigglesworth.  In fact, Eliza was a widow, her father being John Lockwood.  Martha E and Eliza are probably the same person (i.e. Martha Eliza) 1863 - 1893 Sarah Jane Stocks 29 29 Sarah Jane was 13 when she was baptised, and recorded as 25 when married to James Edward Marsland on 20 June 1891.  She was 27 and 6 years older than James, so knocked a couple of years off her recorded age. 1846 - 1848 Margaret Stocks 1 1 Parents not shown but family from Taylor Hill and birth is shortly after marriage. Margaret died, so the nest daughter was also called Margaret, quite a common practice! 1730 - 1802 Joseph Stocks 72 72 Sara Wilkinson <unknown> 1773 - 1802 John Lodge 28 28 Enlisted in the Canada, British Regimental (84th Foot Soldiers, 1st Battalion) and died or was killed in 1802.  The 84th (York and Lancaster) Regiment of Foot was a regiment in the British Army. The regiment was raised in Yorkshire in 1794 and sent to Ireland and Holand.  It was sent to South Africa in 1795, and from there to Madras (1798), then Goa (1799), and Bombay, India (1800). 28 Feb 1876 Charles Henry Stocks (25) Mason of Crosland Hill, son of Thomas Stocks a Mason married Frances Ann Perry (20) of Lockwood, daughter of William Perry a Butcher and Farmer at Lockwood, Emmanuel.

In 1881, Charles Hy and Fanny A (30 & 26) were at Taylor Hill, Almondbury.

In 1891, Charles Henry and Fanny A (40 & 35) were at School Lane, Berry Brow, Almondbury.
