James Stocks

James was born on September 29th, 1827 in Almondbury.¹

- Aged 14 in 1841 at Berry Brow

James' father was Benjamin Stocks and his mother was Sarah (Sally) Campinot. His paternal grandparents were George Stocks and Mary Blackburn; his maternal grandparents were James Campinot and Grace Shaw. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Homer, Joseph, Mary, Ellen, Ann and Emma. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died in Ontario.

  There is a James M Socks born in Huddersfield married to Ann in Surrey in 1891, but this may be another.
