Sarah, known as Sally, was born in August 1797 in Marsden and her christening took place there in November 1797.1  Sally's father was James Campinot and her mother was Grace Shaw. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Joseph, Hannah, Sally, Betty, Mally, Nancy, Charlotte and Fanny.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 77 on April 23rd, 1875 in Berry Brow.  She was buried on April 26th, 1875 at St. Paul's (Armitage Bridge).2 3

‌Sally and Benjamin were married in a religious ceremony on December 13th, 1818 in Almondbury by David Llewellyn and witnessed by J Heaton & Samuel Stocks.1  They had three sons and four daughters, named Homer, James, Joseph, Mary, Ellen, Ann and Emma.  There are no more children.
