Ann Stocks

Ann was born on August 8th, 1830 in Almondbury and her baptism took place on February 26th, 1837 in Lockwood.¹²

Ann's father was Benjamin Stocks and her mother was Sarah (Sally) Campinot. Her paternal grandparents were George Stocks and Mary Blackburn; her maternal grandparents were James Campinot and Grace Shaw. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Homer, James, Joseph, Mary, Ellen and Emma. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 40 on October 1st, 1870 in Illinois (IL).¹

Death Notes
- According to a letter from William Boothroyd, Ann and the other three daughters died before 1875 (i.e. died before both her parents).
  
  In a letter from Benjamin and Sarah Stocks to is son Joseph, dated 27-Nov-1870, they record that they had recieved a letter from George Bennet about a month ago to inform them that Ann was dead. She must therefore have died about Oct 1870.
